(Alina) “Anything?” I asked as we walked to the car with the security team following us. He looked at me and smiled. “Yeah. You name it.” “I want fries.” He laughed. “Fries? That’s what you want after all that?” “I’ve been thinking about them for hours.” “Alright. Fries it is.” We got in the car and I leaned back against the seat and took a breath. My feet were killing me in these heels. “You okay?” he asked. “I’m fine. Just tired. My feet hurt.” He reached over and took my hand, trying to give me as much comfort as he could.
