Jayden flopped down on the sofa and hung his head. He really did not like this idea at all and it was clear on his face.
“Why the hell did I agree to it?” Jayden asked after a few minutes of being silent. I was not going to lie to him. He needs to know why.
“To please your mom” I said, and he nodded in agreement.
“Jayden, I know it’s not my place, but you need to remind them that you are the king now. You can’t agree on everything with your mother just because you want to please her. If you are not ready to choose a mate, then she needs to understand that and support you”, I said.
