I am debating if I should clear things up with the nurse. She seems to have mistaken us for a couple. It is not true, but it is what I want people to believe. It is a method to fool Al. I do it to chase him away from my life, even though it hurts my heart terribly for having to lie to the person I love. But I don’t have a choice. His mother hates me.
