I try calling Su, but I can't reach her. It seems the reception at the temple is as bad as I thought. And that leaves me no choice but to leave her a text message telling her I am awake and okay. Hopefully, it will get to her, and she will call me back.
When I put the phone back on the nightstand, a beep echoes, followed by the door opening. "Who is it?" I sit up straight and ask. A part of me is in alarm. I wonder who it is that has my room's key. Su can't return so soon.
