Pree I open my eyes to find the morning gloomier than usual. The clock on my nightstand reads nine o’clock, so the sun should be shining brightly into the room. But I cannot see any ray of light. Although it is not pitch-black like nighttime, my room is still dark. It is darker than usual. Thinking about it, the state of my room is not much different from my mind. “Great. Even you are mocking me,” I murmur as I turn my head to the window. I did not draw the curtain closed properly last night, leaving a four-inch gap that allows me to see to the outside. The sky is overcast, filling with dark gray clouds. Still, I doubt which one is more overcast, my mind or the sky. It takes me more than half an hour to get out of bed, and when I do, I don’t even bother going to the bathroom. Instea
