I’m hoping that this is the last ride already coz’ I’m feeling a little bit tired now. Despite the exhaustion, I still can't help but be nervous. I can’t understand what I’m feeling right now. I can't explain it but I feel like there’s something wrong about this journey. Now, my heart is beating so fast. I can hear my heart beating in my entire body. On the other hand, she can’t also help but think of how Delta Montemayor looks like. Oh well, it doesn't really matter right? What’s important is that I can convince him to go along with her mission. And as the lady stated a while ago, their journey is more than one hour. As they've reached the place, she stood awe of what’s before her. She was mesmerized by the beauty of the surroundings. This is even better that the sight a while ago. "It's a paradise! Oh my god, this is heaven!" She exclaimed in delight. All her apprehension flew as she divulged herself in the beauty of the nature around her that she almost forgot her luggage. If the crew didn't called her, she might just lost them, including her valuables. "Thank you, Miss." She hurriedly took her things after she expressed her appreciation. Now I’m freaking out again. It feels like I’m about to have an interview for a job application that I would die for. Am I going crazy? No, of course not! I just in a very situation. "Excuse me, Miss. Who are you? Are you looking for someone?" I heard someone asking. I looked around. I’m the only visitor in the area. I wonder why the people I have met so far, those that have brought me here, were always asking as if I am with somebody when it’s just me. I’ am about to get irritated now. "Hi, are you talking to me? I am here to check-In because I have some important matters to deal with," I said as I got closer to her. "I am sorry, Ma'am. But I can't accept nor let you enter in this facility. I am sure that you are aware that this is a private property. It's a private resort owned by the Montemayor family," she answered. "F*ck! I didn't think of this ahead. I already knew that this is a private property... Damn!" She silently cursed to herself. She felt ashamed for asking the attendant to check her in. But I’m already here. No time to back out. "Oh, sorry about that, Miss. Hmmm, I am here to meet Mr. Delta Montemayor. I hope you’ll let me in because that’s the only reason why I’m here." Wait, am I blushing? I can feel the heat on my face. The receptionist didn't have the chance to answer and explain to her when a very authoritative voice came along. "Who are you?" a loud and husky voice burst from behind. What a scary voice it is. I felt my legs went numb. I’m literally shaking now. Is he the one I’m looking for? Is he mad that someone visited in their private resort? Maybe the lady is right, any strangers is not allowed in this place. But I need to be brave. I am here for a reason and I need to fulfill my grandma’s wishes for me. She then slowly turned to see the man behind her. He emanates a strict demeanor. A man with authoritative figure. I’m secretly trembling as I face him. "I said who are you?" he asked once again. Okay, I can’t back out anymore. Besides, I have nowhere to go so I’m doing this and I will succeed for sure. "Hi, I'm Cassandra. I-i j-just want to check in h-here." "Leave! This resort is exclusive for my family. You heard very well what my staff jus said, right? Outsiders are not allowed here!" The man then just walked away from me! What a rude man he is! "Please allow me to stay just for tonight, Sir. I don't know anyone from here and I have nowhere to go at this hour," I said loudly so he can hear me. "I don't care. Just leave," he answered heartlessly. I want to answer back but he was out of my sight already. I want to cry because of what's happening now. I looked around me and it’s already dark. Where the hell will I spend the night now? "God, what should I do now? That man is heartless. He did not even gave me a chance to explain why I am here. Does he have a conscience? How could he left a woman alone outside when there’s nothing around their enclosed resort. It’s literally hours away from the other residences and hotels. “Well, I guess I have no choice now” I silently walked out with my shoulders down. I’m trying so hard not to cry at my situation. How petty is this? I’m now walking without knowing where to go. There’s not even a public transport in this area. I couldn't see anything anymore. The surrounding is now filled with darkness. "Grandma, why did you left me in a miserable way? I’m really okay with not being able to inherit anything from you. You know that, right? I'll gladly accept that because you’ve already done enough for me. But why are you doing this to me now, Grandma? Are watching me from above? See, what's going to me now?" I uttered painfully while my tears are falling down my pretty face. I guess I need to train myself to be alone again. Back to my old life before Doña Betita took me in England. Literally, she's homeless and really an orphan now. Without eating and drinking anything the whole day makes me more hopeless. All the hardships that I’ve been through since I was a little kid are all rewinding before me as I miserably walk and wail my pain out. "I need to be strong. I still have a little money in my account. This life is not new to me so I just have to work hard to live." I wiped my tears on using my palm. I felt a little bit hope when I spot a pair of huge rock so I hurried over there. And as I reached the place, I opened my luggage and took out my jacket. Good thing I brought one in my luggage. I covered myself because the night breeze is starting to get colder. I have no choice now but to stay here. I’ll just sleep here for the night because walking around at night would be more dangerous. This is all because of that cold hearted man whom I presume is Delta Montemayor. I’m just so tired and hungry. I hate myself for not packing anything to eat while on the way here. I didn’t know I doze off already. I was awakened by the water dripping on me. "My God! It's raining! How did I fell asleep in this situation?" A heavy rain is pouring nonstop! Not only that, it's accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning. But that's not the problem. I froze when I heard muffled voices directing to where she's sitting beside her luggage. I so terrified to move. “Lord, please spare me from….” But! The world seems to not be on her side.
