The flashlight automatically pointed towards her, but she felt all her hopes died down the moment she heard what he said next
“Wow I guess we got lucky, such a beauty” She felt shivers run down her spine of what she has heard that the man had said, as if on queue she ran fast as she can, fearing the men will caught after her.
When she thought that she was already in a safe distance from the men, she suddenly tripped as pain shot through her disabling her to run further. Soon after, the men who seems to have a bad intentions towards her finally caught up with her.
“I’m begging you, please don’t!”
“You’re too loud! Your voice is hurting my ears!”
She couldn’t help the shrieked that escaped her mouth when two men suddenly grabbed her. Tearing her dress up in the process.
“Move faster! Lie her down quickly!” one of the men shouted. Their voices we’re loud in order to understand each other due to the heavy rain that’s pouring hard from the sky.
The one who seems to be the leader instantly topped her naked body. She struggled to fight back and resist, but she was so helpless. Her throat became so sore because of her constant shouting for help specially when the men held both her thighs, trying to open them wide.
“Don’t! please!” She lost count of how many times she yelled those same set of words.
She felt a force on her stomach, sucking all the air out from her body. Making her eyesight blurry and before she fell into unconsciousness, she was able to say the name of the man who was the reason why she was there in that place.
Whereas Delta didn’t instantly get down from the speedboat with one of his staffs due to the heavy rain.
“You go in first, I’ll go take care of the speed boat” he commanded the guy.
“Boss, are you sure with that?” the guy asked hesitantly.
“Yeah, go!” assuring him.
When Delta finally done tying the speedboat, he started walking fast leaving the place. The resort is a little too far from where they’ve docked because they couldn’t do it somewhere near the front of the resort due to low tide. He halted on his steps when he suddenly heard a shout, he waited to hear another one just to make sure. So, when he didn’t hear any, he continued his walk towards the resort.
“Don’t!”
That shout was louder than the first one he heard, determining that it was a woman. The voice came from somewhere a little too close to where he is standing. The sudden thunder from the sky illuminated the whole dark place and he saw a bunch of men gathering around at something or rather someone.
“F*ck!”
The thunder strike again, making him see clearly that it was a naked woman who was in the middle of the men. He didn’t waste anymore time and ran to where the men are. Fighting them off with strong punches and kicks, surprising them not expecting someone to attack them. Another thunder strike down and the men ran fast as they can. He wanted to chase after them, but he remembered the woman.
“Sh*t” he cussed when he saw the state she was in. He quickly removed his jacket and wrapped it around the woman’s naked unconscious body. Carrying her in his arms running fast towards the resort. The woman needed medical attention immediately. The moment he arrived, almost all the staffs that he passed by was looking at him and the woman in his arms. It was almost ten in the evening.
He brought the woman to his room and gently laid her on his bed. He finally had the glimpse of the woman’s face and recognizing her from the encounter from awhile ago. He felt guilt washed over him because of his coldness, the woman is in this situation right now. He wasn’t like that before but when the only woman he ever loved deceived him, he started to hate all of them.
Delta couldn’t resist but look all over the woman’s body which is covered with sand. Her private parts were on display, making him feel hot all over. Giving him naughty thoughts in which he reprimanded himself in time. He should not be thinking or feeling those kinds of things considering the woman’s current condition right now. But he couldn’t help himself but appreciate her long legs. He was so used to seeing naked women that he shouldn’t be bothered by this. But the woman who laid unconscious on his bed was making the front of his pants tighten. He abruptly turned around and called someone.
“Bring me women’s clothes”
He called another staff.
“Go to the beach, on the rocky part. Find her luggage and bring it here”
“Yes, Boss.”
He carried the woman inside the bathroom. Submerging her body in the warm water, putting shower gel on her body. He was nearly done bathing her when she suddenly regained consciousness and started to shout hysterically.
“Please, Im begging you! Don’t! Please don’t!”
He felt sympathy towards the woman and hugged her tightly.
“Shhh, you’re safe now.” He whispered softly on her ears. Trying to assure her that she’s already safe and away from the men who had bad intentions towards her.
Cassy felt safe the moment he heard her savior’s voice, hugging him back tightly.
“Please, help me” She cried painfully.
Delta’s hand unconsciously raised on its own and started to caress the woman’s hair gently. He’s a woman hater but he’s not a bad person who will just let her be when she’s in this state.
“Shhh, don’t cry.” This is the first time he did this for someone except for the only woman he ever loved who’s already owned by another.
When the woman had finally calmed down, he slowly put a distance between her body and his. Making them face to face with each other.
“Y-you?” Cassy was stuttering on her words when she saw who saved her. She didn’t know which part of her naked body she should cover. Blushing, she looked down. Avoiding his light green eyes that’s looking at her because of embarrassment.
“Follow me so your wounds will be treated” Delta said to the woman who has her head down. He walked out of the bathroom fast as he felt the heat from his body rising.
Ten minutes has passed by but the woman still hasn’t gone out of the bathroom. He felt his irritation come back and shouted.
“Hey, woman come out already! Don’t wait for me to go inside and drag you out myself”
Cassy quickly pulled the bath robe that she saw hanging inside. Thinking it was Delta’s. Brushing off the thought of him getting mad at her for using his things without his consent. But she didn’t saw anything else in that bathroom that she can use to cover her body. She slowly got out the bathroom as to not let him wait more.
“F*ck!” Delta uttered under his breath when he saw her got out of the bathroom. He felt the thing in front of his pants come to life, wanting to be freed.
His attention moved from her towards the door when he suddenly heard a doorbell.
“Stay here!” he commanded and walked out of the room fast.
“Sir, here are the clothes you’ve asked for and also her luggage is already downstairs,” reported the staff.
"Tell them to bring it here," he answered.
“Yes, sir,” the staff answered.
When he came back inside, he gave the clothes to the woman.
“Wear this so you’ll feel more comfortable”
After taking the clothes, Cassy was just standing there looking at Delta. When he suddenly realized it, he pivoted fast. Mumbling under his breath on which Cassy still heard.
“You’re still getting shy after I saw everything already”
She just brushed what he said off because she should not be complaining at her current situation. Besides he was the one who saved her.
“Come here. I’ll put an ointment on your wounds,” he suddenly said after a while.
She started to walk towards him, following his command. Trying her best not to anger him or else he’ll kick her out of the resorts again. But when he started to apply medicine on her lip wound, she couldn’t help but stare at his handsome face as his eyes focuses on her lips.
“Staring at me is a big sin and I charge a pretty big payment for it” he said rudely.
She gulped and suddenly straighten her sitting position the moment she heard what he said. Looking away.
When he was done, he put some distance between him and the woman and asked her. He wanted to know why she’s in their resort.
“Why are you here? You do know this is a private resort, right? So, what are your motives and what do you want?” bombarding her with questions.
She didn’t know what to say as an alibi so she ended up telling him the truth
"I want you to marry me," she honestly said
“What did you say?” His calm voice started to sound angry. Maybe she hit her head somewhere, referring to the woman who’s in front of him. Asking him to marry her. What a b*tch!
“That was one of the conditions that was stated on the last will and testament, Mr. Montemayor. You need to marry me or else all of my inheritance will be donated to the charity.” She bowed down her head slightly, thinking he maybe scared her because of his loud voice and the storms that’s brewing outside..
“F*ck! I haven’t gone crazy yet to marry just any random woman! And for your information, marriage is out of vocabulary. I don’t care whichever woman asks me to marry her. Because the woman who’s going to make me want to settle down isn’t born yet and definitely it’s not you!” he said with finality on his voice.
“P-please, you’re the only hope I have. You can ask me anything in return, I’ll give it to you just marry me. After I claim my inheritance, we can file a divorce.” She begged.
“There’s no divorce in the Philippines and I said NO! I won’t ever give you my last name, never! By the way, your luggage is in the next room. Tomorrow you can leave,” he said coldly, walking away from her.
Cassy felt her knees grow weak, making her sit on the carpeted floor. She pities herself so much. If Delta doesn’t agree with her, she won’t get any amount of money from her inheritance. She slowly stood up and walked towards the door he pointed out sadly.
When the door suddenly closed to the room next door. He got out from his hiding place somewhere in his room. He didn’t really got out of his own room when he walked out a while ago. He felt a sense of regret.
“Oh, jerk! Bastard!” he scolded himself. Why did he feel those feelings towards her? He walked quickly towards the bar and took his favorite liquor.
At the same time, Cassy is pacing around her room. Replaying his words in her mind repeatedly. Slowly losing hope on ever having her inheritance. Then a thought hit her, why did she had to have that kind of condition just to have her inheritance.
