C16- Outline

"Dating? Kami? No! Mamamatay muna ako bago maging kami," mabilis na sagot ni Aida na may pandidiri just thinking of President and her being together.

"Ayaw mo sa kaniya? Pero gwapo siya, at super powerful. Every woman would want him," mentioned ni Lara na binida si President na bet niya.

"Okay, let's give him that. Yes, gwapo siya at powerful. Pero sa personality? I don't think so. Bagsak siya sa character. Kaya hindi ko siya papatulan," tugon ni Aida na puno ng hatred sa puso niya. "Okay, let's enough talking about him. Let's finish this na para makauwi tayo ng maaga," aniya na binuklat ang blue folder to start working.

Meanwhile, nakaupo si President Li sa upuan niya habang hawak-hawak ang tablet niya nang pumasok si Carl sa opisina niya.

"President, we got a lead to Madame Diva's daughter," reported ni Carl.

"Good. Tell me about it," President Li replied, at binitawan ang hawak na tablet to pay more attention to what Carl has to say.

"We located the hospital where Madame Diva gave birth. It's in Quezon City. We also have the suspect's identity," balita ni Carl, at binigay ang phone niya dito to show to him the suspect's face.

Tinitigan naman ni President Li ang itsura ng suspek.

"Where is he now?"

"He's living in Tarlac now, President."

"Bring him to me," wika ni President na iniangat ang ulo to look at Carl again seriously.

"Yes, President," masunurin na sagot ni Carl, at kinuha niya ang phone niya rito bago siya lumabas ng opisina nito.

Pagkaalis ni Carl ay napatingin si President Li sa gilid niya as something suddenly came up in his mind.

Napasandal siya sa upuan niya nang biglang sumakit ang ulo niya kakaalala ng mga nangyari noon dahil kahit anong pilit niya, hindi niya alam kung sino ang pumatay sa nanay niya.

A knock interrupted his thoughts.

"Come in," he said.

At pumasok si Lara at Aida na may dalang blue folder.

"President, here's our outline. Please tell us if there's anything you want to add or remove," sambit ni Lara na inilapag ang folder sa desk nito.

Binuklat ni President ang folder, and he turned the pages to see their designs for the project.

For a moment, tahimik ang buong kwarto nang iniangat na ni President ang ulo niya to look at the two ladies in front of him.

"Is this the best you can do?" malamyang tanong ni President Li na mukhang hindi na-satisfied sa mga nakita niya.

"I—" aniya ni Lara na binuka ang bibig to say something, but then, sinara din niya dahil hindi niya alam kung tama ba ang sasabihin niya or hindi.

Napangiti naman si Aida sa sinabi nito.

"Wow. We put effort to make that," asar na sambit ni Aida.

Napatingin si Lara kay Aida dahil siya lang ang may lakas ng loob na kwestunin ang boss nila.

"And you called this an effort? I expect a lot from both of you. Again," mataray na komento ni President Li, at inihagis niya sa sahig ang folder na parang basura.

"Wow," aniya ni Aida na napa-clench ng jaw dahil hindi na niya mapigilan ang emosyon niya dito.

"Why, do you have something to appeal?" he dared to question.

"Aida, it's okay," pigil ni Lara na hinawakan ang braso nito.

Huminga ng malalim si Aida to calm herself dahil pinigilan siya ni Lara kaya naman hindi na niya pinatulan ang lalaking nagpapainit ng ulo niya.

"As you wish, your highness," sarcastic na tugon ni Aida, at kinuha ang folder sa sahig.

Thus, after 5 hours ay bumalik sa opisina ang dalawang babae to ask for President Li's approval. But still, he threw it on the floor, which means they have to do it all over again.

Then, in 2 hours, they came back again. Napahawak kamay na ang dalawang babae sa harap nito as they both praying na sana matanggap na nito ang outline na ginawa nila. However, napa-sigh lang si President Li, at inihagis ulit ang folder sa sahig.

Sa inis ni Aida ay susugurin na niya sana si President Li, pero mabuti na lang at pinigilan siya ni Lara.

Thereafter, dumating na ang gabi, at pareho napahikab si Aida at Lara.

"Let's call it a day?" tanong ni Lara dito with a smile.

"Sa tingin mo, bibigyan pa tayo ng chance ng jerk na 'yun?" tanong pabalik ni Aida, referring to President Li dahil hindi sila sure kung tatanggapin nito ang ginawa nila for the nth time.

"Well, let's try again for the last time?" nag-aalinlangan na tanong ni Lara.

Napatungo si Aida, kaya naman sabay sila tumayo at pumunta ulit sa opisina ni President Li na swipe ng swipe sa tablet na hawak nito.

"This is our best outline. Please accept it, President Li," sambit ni Lara with a sweet smile, at mahinhin na nilapag ang folder sa desk nito.

Kinuha at binuklat ulit ni President Li ang folder, at napa-nod siya just looking at it.

"This is accepted," he stated, at sinara na ang folder bago tignan ang dalawang babae na nasa harap niya. "I want you two to report to me at exactly 7 in the morning tomorrow. You fail to arrive tomorrow, and you will be remove from the project. I don't tolerate tardiness. Got it?" he reminded them both.

"Yes, President. Good night. We'll be going now," sagot ni Lara, at hinatak ang pulsuhan ni Aida para sabay na sila lumabas nito.

"You, stay," he demanded, talking to Aida.

Dahil sa sinabi nito ay binitawan ni Lara si Aida, at nagtitigan sila na may pahiwatig sa isa't-isa.

"I'm tired," reklamo ni Aida nang muli niyang harapin si President Li, at malamlam niya ito tinitigan.

Pero hindi nagsalita si President Li, at tumayo sa upuan niya to approach her. He stood in front of her, at nagtitigan silang dalawa.

"What?" malamyang tanong ni Aida na wala ng lakas makipag-away dito.

"You're coming with me," aniya in a calm tone.

"What? Where?" walang gana niyang tanong ulit.

"My penthouse," he replied, at kinuha niya ang right hand nito to intertwine with his.

"What? No!" mabilis na tanggi ni Aida, at hinatak ang kamay niya mula dito.

He looked to her again that his eyebrow in straight line.

"You will come to me whether you like it or not. It's not an option," he cleared himself to her.

"At bakit ako sasama sa'yo?" mataray na tanong nito.

"What? English only," taas-kilay nitong wika dahil hindi niya ito naintindihan.

"I said, why would I come with you? We're not even a couple to live together. So stop it," asar na aniya.

"Then, let's get married," direktang sagot ni President Li na seryosong nakatingin dito.

"What? Are you insane? And why would I marry you? You said I am a nobody. So, why would you like to marry a nobody like me? Did you bump your head, huh?" she blurted out.

"A nobody that I can be with. Now, stop messing with me. I'm tired too. Let's go," tugon ni President without leaving her eyes, at saka niya kinuha ulit ang kamay nito to pull her to come with him.

"What did he say? Bakit kinilig ako dun? Nababaliw na ba ako?" tanong ni Aida more to herself dahil nakaramdam siya ng kilig sa sinabi nito na hindi dapat.

Pagkapasok ni Aida sa penthouse ni President Li ay namangha siya sa laki, lawak, at ganda ng lugar. But then, hinila ulit siya nito hanggang sa nakarating sila sa walking closet. Binigyan siya nito ng itim na lingerie na pantulog.

"Are you serious? I'm not wearing that," apila ni Aida nang makita niya ang revealing na pantulog nito.

"Wear it," matalim na sambit ni President Li, at inihagis niya ang damit dito at saka umalis to leave her so, she could get dressed.

Nakaupo sa tabi ng kama si President Li na nakasuot ng baththrobe habang nagbabasa ng newspaper nang napansin niya lumabas na si Aida. Pagkakita niya kay Aida na nakasuot ng itim na lingerie ay lumabas lalo ang kaputian, at kagandahan nito.
