34. Calling you

  Alma   I tried to open my eyes, but they were too heavy. It didn’t matter how much I was trying to force myself to wake up, I just couldn’t.  I could only feel the warm air around me and a hard surface beneath me. A bright light on my face, like the annoying dentist light! Where was I?  My dizziness grew and I felt my whole body getting heavier and heavier until my senses went numb and I fell to dreamless slumber.  After I didn’t know how long for, the light started to bother my closed eyes again. Eyes that I couldn’t even open.  I was drifting in and out of consciousness, my head felt light and my limbs heavy.
