Chapter 63

Raphael King looked at her with a serious and severe expression and then for the first time he cursed in the presence of students. “Motherfucking bastards!!!! Bloody magic wielding w***e!!!” he roared as all the three girls looked at him in astonishment. “Headmaster King I do understand that this is a situation where you are supposed to be losing your calm but trust me, that is not going to help us in any way. Rebecca showed me who that man was and that too when he was a man. He is practically a half-blood abomination born to a witch which was the reason her mother was ostracized and cast out of her pack. She could only return when Rebecca was born but she did not survive after that. Rebecca had burnt him down hoping that he would die but he did something unimaginable. There is a way but I don’t know if it is feasible or not,” said Snow as Akira and Sonata looked at her in horror. Whatever she would say it was going to be something impossible and then it would put her at risk again. “Snow, whatever you are thinking don’t tell me that you are the only one who can do that. You were bound with chains and wolfsbane which means that you are probably much weaker than the rest of us and even with that taken in consideration, we don’t have any left over stock of blood so that you can regain your strength. So whatever you are thinking stop that immediately and tell us an alternative which can be divided amongst all of us,” said Sonata and Akira vigorously nodded at her words. “I would normally not say this Ms. White but trust me, today I am going to agree with Sonata. She is right in saying that it needs to be divided amongst the ones on whom I can trust. And I would have brought Doc Lillian as well in on this but I know that she is having a hell of night to pay with this poisoning nonsense going on. I wish I could make her alive again just to kill her multiple times,” said Raphael as his eyes changed to red and blazed. “But Headmaster King, you need to ….” Started Snow but he then looked at her and silenced her with one expression. “There is going to be no further discussion on this. I am going to check upon the students who are ailing at the moment and I believe that then I can leave it in your capable hands to take command of this issue so that you can do what is best and then put up the guards back in its places. It is high time to prove yourself Ladies. You need to show me that you are worthy of taking on the titles that your parents want to confer on you and that we have, I have not failed in making you that you need to be,” said Raphael as he looked at all three of them. “But Headmaster King, how is she going to do that? None of us are sorceresses and the guards on the wall can be only put up by a sorceress if I remember correctly what has been taught to us till now. So then how is going to be possible at all?” asked Akira as Sonata nodded as well. “We have a sorceress girls,” said Snow, as she smiled at Raphael who nodded at her with a tight lipped smile. “What are you saying Snow? We are vampires, remember? Nosferatu…there is no sorceress here amongst us,” said Akira as Snow still smiled. “I am going to leave you young ladies to it. If you face any problem, then remember I am just a call away,” said Raphael as he left the room. Although he knew that he should be with Snow at the moment and he would be better off any way trying and watching so that she did not come to any danger but it did not seem proper that he would be always hanging around her. She needed to understand her worth in her own right. She was a Princess by birth but she needed to have her share of trials before she became the Queen of a New World. Snow looked at all of them and then sighed. “You have no trust on me at all,” she said as she started dropping and swatting the piles of the books in order to find out the book which she had been reading so that she could do the magic in order to protect the Blood Veil Academy. “We do trust you alright Snow, but you know what? You have this intense and very worrying habit of jumping into fire without even thinking once. We don’t trust that instinct of yours,” said Sonata with a scowl. “And what about this nonsense that you going on about having a sorceress? We don’t have any sorceress with us Snow…that’s it. Period,” said Akira as Snow turned towards her looking at her fiercely with her purple gaze. “We do have a sorceress Akira. How can you be so daft? She might be dead very well but don’t say that we don’t have a sorceress. A dead sorceress at this moment is more helpful to us rather than a live one,” said Snow as Akira started to say something but then she closed her mouth like a fish out of water. “You need to be more forthcoming with all these stuff that you are telling us now rather than jumping from the frying pan into fire directly,” said Sonata as she looked at Snow with fierce gaze as well. “But that is what helped me realize this entire thing in the first place. I must say that I am still feeling a bit light headed and I am going to need blood but we don’t have any of these blood bags as well,” said Snow as she finally got the book that she was searching for in the piles and then yelped out showing both of them the ritual that they needed to perform. “Holy Cow ….Snow are you out of your mind? How are we supposed to do this? No one can be able to do this in such a short time. And the ingredients? Have you seen the ingredients? Where are we going to find that?” asked Akira as she went over the recipe for creating a conduit for shifting the magic back to earth where it originally belonged. “You both give me too little credit,” scowled Snow at them as Sonata pored over the written words as well. “Snow, this is extraordinary!!! And as much as I have at least a hundred questions for you...how did you find this book in the first place?” asked sonata as Akira was pacing up and down and chewing her nails which she did when she was extremely nervous. “For detention I was sent to the witch..so she gave me a few books on the history of the basic and most traditional magic, that is the oldest form of magic which meant that I had to read all these books from the first page to the last,’ said Snow as Sonata gaped at her. “You read this book from the first page to its last?” asked Sonata as she turned the pages and found that it was a huge volume which was almost impossible to finish studying in one night. “Girls, we don’t have time for this chitter chatter at the moment. We have the Academy to save,” said Akira as he eyes blazed red and she started pacing again nervously as Snow understood that the lack of feeding was catching up on them. She had no idea how to deal with this thing. After all….but hold on a second…. Snow smiled to herself. She knew that Doctor Lillian would never poison the entire blood source because she would need fresh blood when helping the patients to recuperate. But if she said that to the girls now then they would ask her how did she know this fact and she would not be able to answer that but she had no other option as well. She felt a little bit guilty on not letting them know everything about her but she knew in her heart instinctively that Raphael was right in saying that no one would be able to understand who she truly was. “Girls, we cannot be thinking about our own needs at the moment. We need to do something and that is pretty f*****g huge. So Akira you will take the drawing of all these symbols in this room which will be locked after this night and at the four directions of the Academy. That is the four gates. Once that is done we can proceed with the spell, but that is also dependant on how well is Sonata going to be able to find the ingredients for the spell. If we are able to do that then only we can do this successfully,” said Snow as she clicked an image of the ingredient list from the book and forwarded it to Sonata and did the same with the symbols to Akira. “These are pretty badass and complex stuff Snow, you know that right?” asked Akira as she looked at the images. “I know Akira, and I have full faith on you regarding you are going to be able to make them perfectly and until then I need to do something more essential. Once all of you are done we will meet here itself. Alright? Just send a text in the group,’ said Snow as she started going out of the room but both the girls called her back at the same time. “Where are you going Snow?” asked Sonata as Akira walked to her. “I am going to create the conduit for the magic Sonata. That is the only thing which is going to save the Academy from complete and utter disaster at the moment,” said Snow and Sonata took back a step and looked at her carefully. “You are again doing the same thing that we implored you not to do Snow…why is this necessary? Why must it be always you? Tell me, tell Akira….we can also do the same thing as you!!” said Sonata as Snow smiled at her. She could not tell that she was the only one who could do this properly because she had the blood of the witch in her veins and she had discovered that lately. “I would do that Sonata but you know that I would never put any one else in harm’s way when I have the option on doing it myself. DO you know why I am doing this? Why I was the one who was possessed by the spirit of the dead witch? Why I was the one who went absolutely bonkers when there was magic happening in my vicinity?” asked Snow as Akira looked at her and the held her hand tightly. “Tell us Snow. We are your friends. It’s us,” said Akira and Snow smiled. She could not give them the absolute truth but she could give them some truth to the least. “I have an aversion to magic. There is something wrong with me but Doctor Lillian said that was the reason I was the most susceptible to the effects of magic, so I am the only choice here girls. I have no other way. So text me when you are done,” said Snow as she rushed out of the attic towards the direction of the morgue.
