If he is able to attain the power of his blood which he has been longing since my birth then it is going be impossible to pause the Apocalypse that is on the verge of breaking out.

These were the two sentences which kept on ringing in her ears when Snow opened her eyes. They were back to purple and she looked at the ceiling and found Sonata looking at her in a weird manner. Snow tried to get up from the bed but then she suddenly felt that something was holding her hands back. She looked at her hands and found that her hands were shackled with iron chains which were entwined with the wolfsbane vines. She pulled them hard but found that she was weak and could not even move her hands.

“Sonata? Why am I chained?” asked Snow in a weak voice as Akira rose up from the couch hearing her voice and then looked at her from a distance.

Sonata looked at Akira and then both of them again looked at her with hesitation.

“What happened to you guys? In the name of Satan, you need to tell me or at the least open my hands…I have never felt more weak in my entire blighted existence,” said Snow as she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath and then she sighed. There was something wrong with her but she had no idea at all how she was supposed to remember that.

“Snow??? Is that really you?” asked Akira fearfully.

Snow looked at her in surprise and said,” Who else is it going to be Akira? And why am I chained?”

“Don’t you remember anything at all?” asked Sonata as they came closer to her still not sure if she was going to be possessed at any moment.

“Am I supposed to remember anything? I am not sure really what is happening to me Sonata, will you please open my hands? And oh dear!! My feet are bound as well,” said Snow as she tried pulling at the chains again.

“Snow we are not sure what is the process of opening you up. Headmaster King has told us to call him once you regain senses. There has been poisoning inside the school and we three are the only ones who are unaffected,’ said Akira as she motioned Sonata to go and call Headmaster King.

“But at the least you can tell me what happened to me in the first place that I had to be shackled up in this way!!!” said Snow as she looked at her in exasperation.

“Well I can tell you what happened after we were called here by Headmaster King. I have found this spell while reading the books which were strewn on the floor. Would you like me to use it?” asked Akira, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

“Are you sure that you can do the magic things? I mean that is not going to be something of a problem right?” asked Snow, still not satisfied that Akira was going to be able to do anything of substance.

“I can not say that for sure Snow. I am also a novice and anyways the woman had told us that there are some things which we are supposed to know as a normal creature and not magical being. And even humans can do this. It is mostly a thing of concentration…so will you let me try?” asked Akira. Her eyes were this big puppy eyes and she was so earnest that Snow had to smile. She nodded and Akira started jumping up and down in excitement.

“Alright so all I need to do is recite these words and then say that clearly and then picture the memory in my mind so that you can see it through my eyes. You get what I mean?” asked Akira as she picked up the book which she had dog-eared the pages.

“Yeah I have got that right but as far as I remember Doctor Lillian told me that last morning I had some kind of adverse effect to this magic being done in close proximity to me so are you sure that it is not going to harm me in any way?” asked Snow, gingerly as Akira bit down her lower lip.

“Well I cannot say anything for sure where you are concerned Snow. But look on the bright side, you are already bound and shackled so you won’t be able to harm me or any one else for that. So it is a feasible option. But if you ask me, my personal opinion then it is not going to have any other problem at all, because I am not applying any magic to you, but rather on a few elements to show you my memories,” said Akira as she shuffled through a few pages of the book.

“But you do understand that whenever you use magic or do magic in a sense you are supposed to pay a price. What is the price in this case?” asked Snow as Akira looked at her and she smiled.

“The price is the memory of someone I love most,” said Akira with a sad smile on her face and Snow knew that she was remembering her parents who were back in the Land of the Rising Sun.

“Is it really necessary? You could always tell me everything?” still prompted Snow but Akira had made up her mind and she did not think about it again. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath and recited the spell clearly as she held Snow’s hand. There was soft smile lingering on her lips as Snow was blasted with images behind her eyes.

Sonata and Akira entered the room and Raphael breathed a sigh of relief. Their eyes went towards Snow bound and shackled inside and they rushed towards her but she snarled at them and they looked at Raphael with question in their eyes.

“She is possessed by a spirit. It is a malicious soul and she is going to be possessed until she finishes the conversation with that soul,” said Headmaster King with the syringe still in hand.

“Spirit? What spirit? And how did she get even close to a spirit? Are the guards of the Academy down?” asked Akira, as she looked at Snow who again snarled at her and making her stagger back. Then Akira snarled at her with her fangs out as well. Sonata looked at Raphael raising her brows in question as she looked at the syringe in his hand.

“This is for her to lose consciousness for some time so that we can take out this spirit from her body. And no Akira, the guards of the Academy are not down but some one has died in the Academy. Inside the very walls of this castle. A few hours ago, the sorceress who had come to the Academy for the purpose of teaching you has passed away within our walls and that is the reason her spirit was stuck inside. And now she is trying to get back at me and do some damage even more than she has already done that caused this to happen in the very first place,” said Raphael as Sonata’s brows raised at the last part of his sentence.

“This is the sorceress inside her??? What the f**k Headmaster King???How did that happen? And can the witches take over our bodies or what?” asked Sonata as she looked at Snow in horror and shock.

The voice that came out of her throat could dry up entire rivers.

“I can do things little girl which will make you cry for your Mommy dearest for a decade to come,” said Snow, but the voice was not hers and Akira screamed at her voice. And Snow laughed out loud in such a way that could freeze anyone’s heart in fear. It was like the worst horror movies of Hollywood being played in front of their eyes live, in action.

Raphael did not wait any longer and plunged the syringe in her arm and then pushed down the entire vial of liquid in her body. The expletives that were coming out of her mouth would shame a truck driver but he could not deal with Rebecca any longer. It seemed that she was a tenacious one who did not leave him alone even after her death.

Akira left her hand with a shock and Snow looked at her and then she said,” Headmaster King poisoned me?”

“Snow!!! How can you say that? Did you not see that he was only trying to help you? There was a spirit inside you. Did you feel the maliciousness in her expression and the voice….oh my god Snow…I have never been that scared in my entire life,” said Akira as she hugged her friend despite her chains.

“Yes I saw that as well. But who was that? I mean Rebecca? How can it be? I was speaking to her just now…she was telling me about things which are supposed to happen..” and as soon as Snow finished the sentence realization dawned on her.

“Holy Heavens….Akira…what in the name of Devils is Headmaster King doing? Call Sonata and ask how long are they going to take…there is a disaster happening out right now and I know how to stop it,” said Snow as Raphael and Sonata entered the room with their speed.

“Is she fine?” asked Raphael as he looked at Snow and then at Akira. The question was directed to Akira and Snow narrowed her eyes at him. He was going to hear for this later on but right now she had a school to save.

“Yes Headmaster King. She is fine. It is safe to open her now although I have no idea what she was speaking about disaster happening out there and she needed to do something about it,” said Akira as Raphael brought out his fangs and then pricked the skin of his index finger and then wrote something on the chains and the wolfsbane vine. And the chains which were shackling her opened and Snow immediately sat up rubbing her wrists and then proceeding to do the same with her ankles.

“So Ms. White, what is it that you need to do this time? Probably as you have heard that the entire blood system of the school has been poisoned and the school has fallen sick barring you three and the kids who have had their supper earlier before the poisoning has been done. The entire stock has had to be cleared off and I have reached out to my contacts for immediate supply of the blood but now what else do you think could be the problem, rather disaster in your terms waiting to happen out there?” asked Raphael, as Snow understood it was more for the benefit of the other two girls rather than her.

“Demons are going to breach the defenses of our school. Until and unless it is put up as soon as possible. The wards that Rebecca had put up have lost their effectivity as soon as her life force left her. She is still lingering here because she knows how the attack is going to happen. It is a process of trying to wipe out our next generation, top to bottom. And as you can understand Headmaster King, that is a blow from which our entire race is not going to be able to rise back any sooner,” said Snow as the other girls looked at her in horror and there was a grim line of realization set on Raphael’s beautiful face.
