The next morning, we do our usual Sunday church thing. All is normal except for there"s more chatter going around about the sawmill"s plans. It turns not so normal when the door next to the altar opens, and instead of Pastor McIntyre, out comes a stranger. Murmurs float through the pews. The man, younger and looking friendlier than our regular pastor, steps up to the pulpit, adjusts the microphone, and starts talking. "Good morning. My name is Pastor Tom Chambers. Pastor McIntyre"s wife took ill, so he asked that I conduct the service today." And we"re off. There are hymns and announcements. He stumbles only a little over the unfamiliar names of the ill and needy we are asked to pray over for this week. After a Bible verse, Pastor Chambers launches into the sermon. Not much different
