Lola was jogging at the beach when she spotted Cuddly. She immediately stopped running and picked up the excited puppy, only to come face to face with its owner.
“Lamar?” Lola asked, shocked. As far as she knew, Lamar owned a penthouse on the other side of town. She did not need anyone spelling it out to her. Lamar walking shirtless on that portion of the beach meant that he was staying on the same estate as her.
“My Angel,”Lamar responded lovingly, making her heart rate pick up.
Lola shook her head in disbelief when Cuddly jumped off her hands to Lamar and started licking his face.
“You like her, don’t you?” Lamar asked the puppy. “You have taste, she’s quite something,” he added.
