After suffering from insomnia for the last few hours, I had finally decided to go to Amelia's room. For the first time in my life, I felt hesitation. The strangest thing was that I felt this hesitation when I entered my own mate's room. With a long deep breath I opened the door without knocking, when I looked inside the room, she was lying on the bed and noticed me.
"Oscar?" Despite seeing me suddenly enter her room like this, her reaction was quite casual which gave me relief. I had just planned to peek at her a little then return to my room so I had not knocked on the door.
"Are you still awake?" She wondered. In response to her question, I only smiled as I entered the room.
