James Bond was a jewelry store owner in San Francisco, it was a store he inherited from his late father, his mother could not run the store since she was always sickly, in and out of the hospital from time to time and since he was the first born and the only responsible who could run the store, he had no option that to run it but as time went by, he actually started loving it there, he was always committed and didn’t really get time to go out like the rest of his buddies, he was always in the store and he realized that it was the only thing he could do but that morning he woke up earlier than usual, he had this bad feeling that something might have happened at the store, his young sister studied at one of nearby colleges and he always dropped her off at the school on his way to the store, he was the only one with the key to the store and his mother had the spare key and he is the one that usually opened the store, he worked there with his only friend, his childhood friend Bill, so he dropped his sister Sophia at school and then drove all the way to the store and when he got there he sensed that something was unusual , the door was unlocked and everything was intact, but most of the valuable jewelries were not there, he could not understand how it happened because he was the one that closed the door the previous day, he was the last one at the store, the door was not broken but it was rather opened from the outside, the CCTV’s could not show who stole from the store because apparently they were not working, someone tampered with them, so h called his mom to confirm if she still had her spare key and she said yes, that she still had it and he still had his so he called the police but the moment the four detectives entered his store, his eyes met Becca’s and the their eyes locked, he had never seen such a beautiful young lady, Becca was like a walking princess and he got distracted for a second, the moment they tore their eyes from each other he could feel his heart beat racing so fast and he didn’t know why but he knew he had to talk to her again, For Becca she thought she had seen it all in Anthony but the moment she saw James, and when their eyes locked she got lost in them for while, he was a whole package and she didn’t also understand why he was staring at her and she was feeling hot all of a sudden, the feeling she had only experienced with Jimmy and it had been long ever since she felt that way, she had to look at the opposite direction to avoid the eye contact and she thanked Joanna inwardly for saving her ass, she could not even face him for the interrogation

“And how long have you known Bill?” Joanna asked and he sighed

“Since my whole childhood, we have grown so close since we were in the 2nd grade, why would you ask about him?” he asked looking confused, on his mind he thought maybe they were accusing his friend and that was not the case either, to Joanna, Bill was the suspect number one, first he was the only one who knew about the spare key misery and from James’ statement he was the only one who knew where the key was and was the one who always helped him around in the store, apart from other two female he employed at the counter, they were also present and were also surprised that the store was robbed the previous day

“And about the spare key, who else did you tell about apart from him, who else knows about the key?”

“I told Bill and I don’t think he is capable of doing that, despite my mom still has the key and I also have mine, or else you suggesting…oh no, it can’t be true” he said as realization hit him, h knew maybe there was a spare key that was used to break into and that only meant that the robber made a photocopy key from the original key which he had

“Yeah, exactly my thoughts, where is Bill and when is the last time he was here?” she asked

“He was here yesterday but left early to go see his mom who is admitted she is sick and he asked me or a day off, I can’t deny him that” he said as realization hit him

Becca and the other detectives were going through the other room, where it was written staffs only, they had their gloves on, as they were going through the room, she came across the computers that were connected to the CCTVs, it was the main room, so she decided to go through the computer and she sensed something fishy, the CCTVs were working well until the previous day around the same time that Bill came into the room to change and that was when everything went faulty, seemed like he was the one that knew what was happening to the CCCTVs since he was the last person to be seen in the room

“Hey Becca look what we found here” Baker shouted from the other end, he was with Oscar and he was holding a piece of paper from the trash can, seemed like the person was trying so hard to hide the evidence but failed terribly, it was one piece of a sketch of a key, they picked all of them and arranged them orderly and there was the sketch of the key to the store

“I have one question though Mr. Bond” Becca said as she and the other detectives walked back to the main store

“Okay, I am listening, you found something?” he asked as he turned his direction back to Becca who was holding the pieces of papers

“Yeah, my colleagues and I found this in your staffs’ room, it is a sketch of a key that we believe is the key to your store, and the CCTVs were not working since yesterday around lunch time, did you realize anything weird about your friend because he was the last one in the room before everything went faulty and was any money stolen?” she asked and he shook his head, he was always the last one in the store, he will do his calculations the put the money in the safe where only his dad and him knew about, it was a safe that required a code to be opened and it was in his office, just behind the book shelves and he had never showed anyone, that was where he kept all the money and other important family document

“No, no money was stolen because I am the only one who knows where the safe is and what the code, no one else knows not even my mom or sister and I have never told anyone, so yesterday Bill said he received a call from his sister that his mom wanted to see him, it was around lunch and since we had a few customers, I allowed him to go, he went to the staffs’ room and of course it is allowed since he is one of our staffs, I didn’t go through the computers since I saw nothing fishy and there was nothing weird about him, he was just acting normal but a little bit hasty and I knew maybe it was the call he got from his sister so I dint give it much of a thought, just like any other day, I did my work like any other normal day, did my calculations and left for home, I locked the door on my way out like normal and drove myself home, then the first thing I come across this morning when I come to work is the store door open and some of the jewelries gone” he said and they all nodded

“Well, thank you for your time but I think we found our first suspect, we are driving there but here is my card, in case of anything don’t hesitate to call, we will keep in touch, have a good day” Becca said as she handed him her card and they left, to James, he could not believe that she had left him her card

“You know I could not fail to notice the look that guy gave you the first time we entered that store and you two have been looking at each other the whole time, do you know each other or it is just love at the first sight?” Joanna asked Becca while whispering in her ears and Becca turned to look at her with a questioning glance and she then chuckled
