“Olivia where were you at 1100hours the day before yesterday?” Becca who was the one doing the interrogations asked her, she was seated across the living room and she seemed a bit nervous, you could judge from the look that she was nervous and maybe she knew something that the police didn’t know

“I was home, my mom can confirm that” she answered quickly and Becca turned to look at her mom who just nodded in agreement , something was not adding up, detective Joanna started walking upstairs to her room and she shifted on her seat nervously

“Excuse me, are supposed to be up there? I thought you were just interrogating then you leave?” Mrs. Miller asked and Joanna stopped midway, she had just taken two stairs

“I am sorry Mrs. Miller, but this is part of my work, I am just doing the right thing and if you have nothing to hide then trust me you have nothing to hide, then trust me you have nothing to worry about, you just proceed I will just pretend like I am not here” she said and winked at them and Olivia shifted again on her seat, she was acting weird and that was drawing so much attention already

“Okay Olivia, there is nothing to worry about if you are innocent, trust me, the quicker you answer my question, the quicker we get done with this and I will be on my way before you even know it, so back to our questions, how long have you and Ava been friends?” she asked and Olivia exhaled deeply before speaking

“I can’t really remember well, but I think since when we were in the 6th grade, been long” she answered and Becca noted down

“Okay would you know if she was lying to you? I believe you two had known each other long enough not to hide things from each other, I talked to her boyfriend Spenser and he said maybe I could ask you a few questions as to why she was trying to avoid him the past few weeks, he went over to ask her but she didn’t tell her, did you by chance know what was wrong with her or maybe if she was cheating on him, I am sure she used to tell you every detail and don’t lie to me because I will finally fid the truth and if I find out that you have been lying to me you will face the consequences, you understand that don’t you?”

“Of course, she used to tell me everything but I don’t think she was hiding anything from Spencer maybe if she did she had her own reason which she never told me, I didn’t even know that the two were not talking or she was trying to avoid him I swear I didn’t know anything” she said while fidgeting with her fingers and Becca chuckled, she was surely not good at lying, it was clear she was trying to hide something from her and she was going to get it from her and she knew it was not going to take long

“Olivia, I already told you, if you keep lying to me there will be consequences, I don’t want to waste your time and so why don’t you start telling me the truth I am sure you don’t want us to overstay here, we both have our work schedules that we and highly hope to go back to after this, so the quicker you start telling me the truth the better for both of us” Becca said as she checked on her clock

“My daughter is telling you the truth, I know her, if she tells you she doesn’t know anything its true, trust her” Mrs. Miller said and Becca motioned her to stop talking

“Mrs. Miller I believe this doesn’t concern you in any way, your daughter is a suspect in the murder of an innocent girl, lying in the morgue right now and the family is hurting they would like to bury her and as soon we get done with this investigation and find the culprit who did this, the better for the both of us” she said and Mrs. Miller shook her head

“She is innocent and if she tells you she didn’t do it I believe her, you are making her quite uncomfortable” she said insisting and Becca sighed

“Okay I get it, she is your daughter and you will do anything in your power to protect but this is a police matter and I would advise you let me finish what I started and I will be on my way or I will forced to drag you with me to the police station for interfering with the investigation, I am sure you would want that to happen to you do you?” she asked and she shook her head in denial, she was shaken a little bit. “So back to where we were Olivia did you know that your bet friend was pregnant? And the pregnancy was not Spencer’s? I am sure you have a clue of who it might be, so tell me, who was responsible for that pregnancy, from Ava’s chats with you she mentioned something to you about being scared about telling Spencer the truth and you know who is responsible for that pregnancy and did you know that she was pregnant?” she asked while squinting her eyes at her

“Yes, she had just told me recently but didn’t tell me who the father was, she said she was not ready to become a mom and that her mother would be mad at her if she found out”

“But you just confessed that you didn’t know anything about that and that she did not mention anything to you, what are else are you still hiding from me?”

“I am sorry it just slipped from my mind but I swear that is all I know, nothing else” she said while fidgeting and Becca chuckled

“Okay let me hope so, so what did she say she wanted to do with the pregnancy, did she tell you if she had talked to the guy responsible and what was his reaction?”

“No she didn’t mention to me about that, she just said she was not ready to be a mom and that she will know what to do because it was just a few weeks old”

“And when was the last time you talked to Ava?”

“The day she was killed, we were at school together, attended the evening class and she dropped me off at my place before she went to her hose, just like normal and the next day I heard that she was killed, I swear that is all I know” she said and Becca nodded

“okay thank you for your time, I think I will check on my partner then we will be on our way, thank you for hosting us?” she said and stood up and followed Joanna upstairs, she had taken too long and she was wondering what was taking her so long

“Hey Joanna come, we need to get going, remember we have to give this report to Adams, what are you doing here?” she asked and Joanna shouted her name and asked her to go where was

“Hey Becca, come see this, this is interesting” she said and Becca opened the door to where she was, she was wearing gloves and gave her a pair, she was holding a diary book, the diary belonged to Olivia and she had scribbled something to do with dealing with Ava, apparently Ava had cheated on her boyfriend with Olivia’s boyfriend Henry and she got know although Henry had not mentioned anything to Olivia but she found out promised to deal with her, had scribbled something to do with abortion pills

“This is interesting” Becca said and just as she turned the next page, a stick-on nail fall from the page, she bend to pick it up and Olivia entered the room

“Hey you two can’t be here, I thought you were done with your interrogation?” she asked

“Yes we were and like I mentioned earlier, if you have nothing to hide then I think you have nothing to worry about, so why don’t you let us finish we will be on our way before you even know it” Becca said but Olivia was not budging she knew they were going to know she was the one the killed her friend but she didn’t mean to, they just got into a fight and one thing led to the other and she strangled her, it was not intentional and maybe it was because her mind was clouded with anger
