~~Bree’s PoV~~ This time, Dalton doesn’t put us off. He starts talking. “It happened six years ago. We’d just had another earthquake and volcanic eruption. People were suffering badly and the king was at his wit’s end. His advisors were talking about relocating, going to war to take over some other land or even claiming refuge in the empire if it came to that. Henrik was furious. He didn’t want to lose the kingdom or his birthright as the crown prince.
