I’ve been in plenty of challenging situations before. I’m used to pushing myself past what seems possible, but this is something completely new.
Alfric explains that while he can put me inside Dalton’s body, I will still expect my body to respond to me the same way it does now.
“Isn’t that a good thing?” It seems like it would be harder if the body felt completely alien.
He elaborates a little further. “As children, it takes us a while to learn to control our bodies and to understand our space in the world around us. If you find yourself a few inches taller, you might trip over your own feet until you get used to it.”
I can understand that, but Dalton and I are roughly the same height so I can’t imagine it will be that different. It’s only when I look down at my own bod
