This body swap is every bit as confusing to me as I expected it to be. My brain and body are at war with each other, even more than before.
When Drew first went into Dalton’s body but his wolf didn’t, I could feel the mate bond with him, like I did with Dalton, but in a way that was different somehow too.
His scent changed. Normally, Dalton smelled of pine trees, but when Drew took over, the scent shifted into something more subtle, something spicy and earthy. I couldn’t really pin it down, but it smelled amazing. And when I touched him and the sparks fired up between us, the strength of them sent shivers of excitement through my body. I hadn’t felt the sparks very many times before, since Nyko touched me as little as possible, but knowing that Drew could feel them too,
