Malakai’s body trembled with anger, his knuckles white as he gripped the silver knife near the apple on the table. The blade gleamed in his unsteady hand, his wolf growling darkly in his mind. “Kill this bastard,” the wolf snarled, its voice seething with rage. “Make him pay, and let her suffer for bruising our ego.” Malakai clenched his teeth, his vision tunneling on Marcus’s chest as he raised the knife. He moved slowly, his breath ragged, each step dragging him closer to the slumbering Alpha. Just then, the suite door creaked open.
