AJ was sitting on Jasper’s bed as he got dressed in the bathroom. “So, you and Stella coming to the festival?” Jasper asked him. AJ smiled a little, “Hell yeah. We’re going as Jack Skellington and Sandy,”
Jasper came out of the bathroom and AJ smiled at him in a dark purple leather jacket, his hair now green from a quick wash out hair dye. The “tattoos” on his face seemingly real as he popped in a grill.
“What do you think?” AJ laughed as Jasper posed for him, “Cool, and where’s your Harley Quinn?” Jasper grabbed his phone as it beeped and smiled, “That’s her now, and she’s on her way.”
AJ shook his head at his friend’s beaming face, “Well then let me get on to the house, we’ll meet you guys there?” Jasper nodded and after his friend left waited for his girlfriend to pull up.
And he wasn’t disappointed when she did, Alaia looked incredible in her Halloween custom. She smiled as he checked her out, Jasper tried to be a gentleman around her, but Alaia was just too hot.
She went to his room and threw a bag down on his bed. When he looked at it confused, she told him, “I told my dad I was staying with Stella tonight,” As she checked her hair she casually asked, “You mind if I stay the night here though? I’d rather not leave out late on mischief night.”
Jasper shook his head feeling like he swallowed a grape, “Of course not.” Because was he expected to say no? Walking out hand and hand, Jasper drove her dad’s car instead of his truck to the heart of town and found the festival in full swing.
People covered in fake bloody body parts, the streets littered with vendors and games. Jasper and Alaia both laughed when a man dressed like a goblin jumped out of an alley and scared them.
Walking past him giving him a high five, Alaia giggled as she was suddenly hugged. Seeing the red wig, Alaia looked at Stella looking like a perfect mix of scary and sexy Sandy from a Nightmare Before Christmas.
“Nice girl.” Alaia complimented. Stella giggled as she twirled and tittered, “Why thank you, but you look f*****g insane!” Alaia giggled as she stood in sexy red leather shorts, a small shirt that said Daddy’s Lil Monster, and with her hair covered by a black and red wig she looked sexy.
The baseball bat was the same from the Suicide Squad movie, and like Jasper, Alaia had put on the fake tattoos, and did her makeup similar to Harley Quinn.
The four of them started through town enjoying games, food, and the other customs. All of them were stopped multiple times and asked to take pictures with other people. Mostly tourist who walked around wide eyed and amazed at the little town’s dedication to Halloween.
It was when they got to the haunted doctor’s office things went south.
After waiting in line for five minutes, the four of them paid their admission fees and were led in with two other people. Alaia was holding on to Jasper as the doors was opened to the old doctor’s office that had been shut down five years ago.
They’d just moved buildings, and no one wanted this one, so it was never cleaned out or emptied.
Most of the dusty hospital equipment was real, and as the florescent lights flickered on and off, Jasper jumped as he heard a chilling laugh. An old Mr. Tamera, a fifty-year-old man with the eyes and laugh for a creepy doctor appeared by a door in an exam room.
“Won’t you all please, sign in?” And then the lights were off and on, and Mr. Tamera was gone. Alaia held on to Jasper’s hand as he signed all their names on the doctor’s log and then the lighted pathway showed them down the hall.
They walked by rooms only to see some fake sights that had them all jumping in fear. Electroshock therapy on a cackling girl, an old school lobotomy, and even a very horrifying jump scare from a huge man dressed as a doctor brandishing a huge surgical tool. Covered in blood, he had appeared beside them silently holding a head scaring the s**t out of them.
And then right when they were at the back door about to walk out, a door opened suddenly and Alaia was ripped from Jasper roughly and dragged away screaming. Jasper of course laughed it off for a second, but when she didn’t come back after a moment he worried. Jasper stalked to the door and tried to find her, but the door wouldn’t open.
Jasper tried not to freak or panic since it could be a joke. But as he looked at one of the actors staring confused at the door as well, he asked, “Is this a part of the act?”
The guy scratched his head, “Nah not from what we rehearsed man.” That was all Jasper needed to hear before he started to lose his s**t.
Alaia at first thought it was a joke when someone grabbed her. But when he kept trying to pull her farther through the house and away from people, she stopped dead and her good mood was tarnished.
“You dare put your f*****g hands on me.” She hissed now smelling the man through his cheap Halloween custom. Smirking as they stopped in the hall, Donny removed his Friday the 13th mask and looked down at Alaia smirking, “How did you know it was me gorgeous? Is our attraction just that magnetic?”
Alaia looked at Donny in disgust, “Wow, you really are one f****d up little bunny, aren’t you?” Donny jerked back as Alaia laughed mockingly, “You honestly think I feel anything towards you but disgust and general loathing?”
Donny’s jaw hardened with anger, “Why because pretty boy got you all bent thinkin’ I’m a c***k head?” Alaia looked at Donny with a raised eyebrow, “Yeah you are some kind of c***k head, and you hurt the boy I’m falling in love with for it.”
Out of everything she’d said, Donny only heard one part of it, “I’m not a c***k head!” He snapped, but Alaia shrugged tiredly, “I don’t care.” Donny started to reach for her, but Alaia had quicker reflexes and had his hand in a grip so tight that in the morning it’d be swollen and purple and in need of a brace.
“Listen to this you disgusting, piece of crap,” Alaia hissed her patience thinning, “Whatever weakness you saw in Paige, you won’t find it in me. The next time you touch me, I won’t hesitate.” Donny’s eyes widened as Alaia warned him, “Do yourself a favor. Get some help, you sick little crackhead f**k stick.”
Dropping him on the ground, Alaia turned and stalked off through the house. She easily navigated through the twisted halls and found her boyfriend about to spaz out on the person in charge.
“Babe!” Alaia ran to his side and Jasper looked at her relieved, “Oh thank god,” everyone breathed out seeing her and stopped the talk of cops. Stella watched Jasper hug Alaia as she asked, “What the hell happened?” Alaia looked at her in faux annoyance, “Some asshat pulled me somewhere in the house and locked me in a closet. Took a minute to get out and he left me there alone, so I had to find my way back.”
Everyone was annoyed of course and wanted to find who did it. But Jasper just wanted to get out of there and so did Alaia. When they grabbed dinner and snacks for the night, they called it a night and headed home.
On the way there, Jasper asked Alaia, “And you didn’t see their face? Whoever grabbed you?” Alaia looked at him, “No, no it was dark and at first I thought it was just a scare. You know pull me in, scare me. But then he started to drag me off and I couldn’t fight him off.”
Alaia hated lying to Jasper, but she knew he might get pissed off if he found out Donny was around her again. And he might fly off the handle.
So she lied hoping it wouldn’t bite her in the ass later. Jasper linked their fingers and softly said, “I’m sorry babe.” Alaia shook her head, “No it’s fine! I’m fine. I promise.” Kissing his cheek, Alaia smiled as she whispered, “Now let’s go home puddin’. We can make out and eat chocolate in your bed if you want.”
Jasper looked at Alaia surprised but she shrugged blushing and he nodded as he looked ahead.
