The shattered glass and crimson wine instantly splattered across the marble floor, startling many Pack Socialites who recoiled in alarm. They looked bewildered at the scene unfolding before them.
Morgana Blackwood was momentarily stunned by my sudden, commanding action. She recovered quickly, staring at my face with a half-smile.
Her voice dripped with false sweetness. "I remember you, that 'Thorne family's what's-her-name,' right?"
Talia abruptly stood up, her Alpha bloodline flaring. She pointed toward the Grand Portico of Beaumont Hall.
With all her might, she screamed, "Get out!"
Morgana smiled venomously, swaying gracefully as she walked away. Her parting words carried a clear threat: "We'll see each other again."
