(Seraphina's POV)
I had deliberated for what felt like an eternity, my heart hammering against my ribs. Finally, I mustered the courage to speak.
"Tali."
At that very moment, the Blackwood Manor Omega appeared in the doorway, bowing respectfully. "Alpha King, Lady Talia, lunch is ready. You can eat now."
Talia immediately sprang from the sofa like a coiled spring. "Coming!"
She turned to me, her eyes bright with curiosity. "By the way, Sera, what did you want to say just now?"
I forced a smile, my prepared words dissolving on my tongue. "Nothing. Let's eat first."
Talia, already quite hungry, didn't think much of it. She darted toward The Blackwood Manor Dining Hall with her usual boundless energy.
