(Seraphina's POV)
If my kiss was like a drizzle, shy and gentle, then Kaelan's kiss was like a storm, intense and violent. He kissed me until I was breathless, my body involuntarily going soft.
I ended up limp in his arms, leaning against his chest and panting lightly. Unbeknownst to me, he had pulled me onto his lap, my legs straddling his sides.
Kaelan toyed with my hair and suddenly murmured, "My mate."
