After Damien finished speaking, the entire private room fell into unprecedented silence. Everyone stared at him as if he'd completely lost his mind.
Talia clutched her mouth in shock. Could it be that she really damaged his brain with that bottle?
"Then why did you come to find me?" I rested my chin on my hand, looking at him with amused interest.
"Of course, to make your father continue the cooperation! He can't cancel it!" His tone was so matter-of-fact that even I was stunned by his audacity.
"I can't do that," I smiled mockingly. "I'm not even one-tenth as good as your Elara. She's so capable, go find such an amazing person for help."
