I run to Jasper who is on the ground with his throat slit. Zara had Clawed his throat. I cradled Jasper in my arms as I hold his throat. His eyes are not focused as he takes sharp gasps trying to breathe.
“Everything is going to be OK, it's OK” I tell him. But as soon as I say the words he stops gasping and his body is still. I scream “JASPER… NO!.. PLEASE... JASPER!!” I continue to hold his throat.
My baby brother, how many people are going to be taken away from me. We just got each other back, everything was finally right.
This is the third time I've watched someone I love get murdered in front of me. I feel crushed, my eyes closed and I just feel my body go numb. I don't think I can handle this, I just cry.
