Kino hasn’t come back yet and it has been at least thirty minutes since he has been out to answer that call. I kept looking at the door, waiting for it to open, and see Kino coming inside. But no one came.
“Hey, Kenna asked you a question,” Austin said, bringing me back to my senses.
I looked at them and smiled. Kenna was looking at me with her wide round eyes. “What is it, baby?” I asked her before sitting beside her.
“Can Austin stay here tonight?” she asked before hugging his arm to pull him close. “I missed him so much.”
I smiled and nodded. “Sure, he can stay, of course…” I replied but something in me feels really uncomfortable. How would it be to have Austin and Kino in one room for the whole night? I don’t think I can endure the tension the whole night with the two of them h
