We never breathe a word about the hug after. We acted as if nothing happened. And I think that was the better thing to do. Well, I am not complaining. It’s not like I wanted him to talk to me and tell me more about what he told me while he hugged me. It’s just not the case for me.
“What do you want for breakfast?” Kino asked me when he saw me getting out of the bathroom. I just finished taking a bath.
“Anything,” I replied. “But can you just get what Kenna likes? I can eat the hospital food that they will serve. You can just but what she wants.”
He nodded and smiled before walking towards our daughter’s bed. He crouched down and planted a kiss on Kenna’s forehead before walking out of the room.
