"Dad, you told me that you want to meet the man I've been into this past few months, right?" I asked Daddy while we're having lunch here in our house.
Since both of us have no work to attend to, we have all the day to bond like we usually do when we're free.

My lips protruded. "Please understand me, Dad. Gusto ko lang naman makasiguro sa kanya bago ko siya ipakilala sa'yo. You know what happened nang magpadalos-dalos ako kay Archer."
He stared at me for a long while. "Are you already sure about your feelings, hija?"
