It has been a while since Nina moved in, and our bond began to form. She was literally a joy to be around. We always joked or goofed off when we could; it was almost like we were supposed to be mates but weren't. I feel a deep connection with her, like I have to protect her no matter what because she is essential, and my wolf feels the same. He even says, "keep her close," but he doesn't know why either. The only thing that really sucks is that I can tell Nina only sees me as a friend. I'll admit, I was hurt when I realized it.
