I was over the moon. I had just asked Nina to marry me and she accepted. Now, it was time for her first shift. "This is going to hurt, little rabbit, but I am right here. Let you wolf guide you." I remember my first shift, and the pain wasn't severe, but Nina's bones had been broken lord knows how many times, so I wanted her to know that I was going to be right there for her.
