Elder Tasha pulled me into the library near my office. Her face looked as if she had just seen a ghost. Honestly, I didn’t have time for whatever it was she wanted to talk about, but it looked like its urgent.
“I heard that you lost Nina?” her words made my stomach turn. I guess I was the one who pushed her away. The first time I met her, I tried to reject her like a dumbass until I felt our bond breaking, and now, she ran off because I couldn’t keep my s**t in my pants. The weight of losing her is killing me, and hearing those words cut deep.
