Hailey   I smiled the entire next day. Under my desk in each class, my foot bounced constantly, hoping time would pass by quicker. When my classes ended, I practically sprinted to the infirmary.   “You’re late,” Nurse Greyson said. She didn’t look up from the book opened on her desk as she spoke.   I checked the time on my phone. It was 3:56.   “I’m sorry. I thought my shift started at 4.”   “A great coach once said that if you’re five minutes early, you’re already ten minutes late,” the nurse said, finally glancing up at me. “Your shift starts at 4, but you have to find the right size for your uniform, change, and prepare your workspace for the day.
