The three of us were returning from our fun in the forest. Winona was smiling from ear to ear, and that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. She was the reason for our recent escapade into the forest, and it was an escapade that would be forever ingrained in my memory.
I was pulled away from my thoughts when my eyes spotted something in the distance. At first, I seriously thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. That was until we got a little closer, then there was no denying what had come into my view.
It was in fact a pair of legs.
Letting go of Winona and Felicity’s hands, I kicked it into high gear and sprinted across the yard to the tree line on the opposite side. When I reached those feet, my head immediately started spinning.
