After helping to rescue Madam Alcina’s daughter and Mira’s warlock mate, Serena and I decided to camp in the trees near the castle. There was a lot we still needed to learn about the inner operations, including how often their warriors did a border patrol, and we were happy to be the scouts.
Later in the evening, we decided to follow the warriors on the border walk, so we would know what route they usually take. They were especially slow moving, making it easy for us to remain quiet along the way, but it also made for an extremely boring couple of hours.
When the warriors returned to the castle, we returned to the trees. While up there, we used our personal mind link to communicate with one another, ensuring we didn’t alert the warriors to our presence.
