After the warriors left, me and Emily made our way back to her room. When we got there, I climbed onto her bed and lied on my back. Right away, Emily joined me on the bed, then she lied on her side with one of her legs draped over mine.
Emily propped her head up using her elbow, then she trailed her fingertips across my collarbone and affectionately murmured, "I'm so glad you stayed. Now we need to make you and Tamara official members of the Jungle Pack."
"Do we have to be in a hurry to do that?" I sheepishly asked.
"It would be for the best. That way you'll have a mind link with the pack. If Chester makes an appearance and you are alone, you'll be able to alert the entire pack, and he will be taken down in no time," Emily thoughtfully explained.
