Chapter Seventy Five – Riot Act
Kermit pulled up outside Tanks house, as he knocked on the door, Vicky answered, and gave him a hug.
“Cigs is already here, they are waiting for you in the lounge, I know it is late, but I have some stew in the slow cooker” she smiled at him.
“Cheers Vicky” Kermit gave a half smile, this woman really was the team mother, and he was grateful for her more than she would ever realise.
“Is Kyla not with you?” Vicky asked.
Kermit stiffened slightly, and took a deep breath, and just shook his head, before walking into the room finding Tank and Cigs sat nobody really speaking.
Vicky understood to well that shake of the head, Kermit and Kyla were struggling, and she would bet her last penny it was because he had done the whole, lock away his emotions
