A Part of the Village
Having already set the stew on in her pot before leaving, the low simmer had kept it warm and brought out all the flavor needed. Making two huge containers, she also took the buttered rolls from the oven and stuck them in another container. Packing them up separately and making a hot bubble of air, she left them on the counter before going to change. Taking a cool shower and brushing out her curls, the wavy blonde locks fell around her shoulder blades as she turned and slid on a simple summer dress. Feet back in her vans and no desire to port with all the food she had, Katherine saw her bike and got a brilliant idea.
