I can't believe what I just did. I'm glad its over, but I never thought that I would be able to kill Jacob. I look over at Amanda walking next to me toward the palace and I know what gave me the strength. It was her. This woman that I probably don't deserve but I'll never let go. "Hey Amanda I'm glad to see you're alright." The man's words bring me out of my thoughts. I pull her to my side. "Thanks Troy, I'm glad too" she says back. "I'll see you at training." He walks away and I keep walking next to her. I suddenly feel unsure of everything. Maybe she means something to this man. I'm sure she thought she was going to have a wolf for a mate, not a vampire.
