I wake up knowing it's really early as the sun is just rising. I reach for Conrad but he isn't there. What the hell? I don't even know if we can link because we didn't try after we marked and mated last night. I try anyway, Conrad, where are you? After a few seconds, I hear Conrad's voice in my head. "This is amazing, I didn't know this would happen when we mated with me being a vampire." Conrad answer my question please. "Sorry love I'm outside because I felt strange this morning." Strange what does that mean? "Come outside and I'll show you." I jump up out of the bed and throw on t-shirt with shorts. Once I'm downstairs, I head out the side door to the garden.
