Ryan's POV I took Amelia to the guest room, deliberately avoiding Elsa's old room because I didn't want her to feel unwelcome. Elsa's room remains untouched. One day, I knew I must clear it, and I couldn't let Amelia see it. But each time I enter, the lingering trace of Elsa’s scent wraps around me, and guilt holds me captive. Later, in the depths of night, I retreat to my own quarters. Fatigue leads me to a hot shower, the steam easing the weight from my shoulders.
