(Part Two)
I rub my eyes as I lean back in my chair. I stared back at the screen, trying to take in everything on the email I wanted the Elder to know. I became our pack's Alpha an entire month after my father’s death.
There was a ceremony, but I wasn’t into the celebrations. I held a banquet for all pack members and others that came to see me take over, but I hid in my office to figure out what I wanted to do as an Alpha.
I devised a strategy that would benefit my pack and me, but vengeance was constantly on Mace’s and my mind. We wanted the man who killed our father, but he was not seen.
