THREE MONTHS LATER
(Part one)
I stared at the sonogram photo and couldn’t help the smile that formed. I was having a boy. I couldn’t have been more over the moon about it. I found out yesterday with Sandy, who has been fantastic throughout the pregnancy, along with Bow and Peggy.
Everyone has stuck by their word and has been there for me.
I felt something on my cheek and moved my hand to it, only to realize that I was crying. These damn hormones were a killer, though; I didn’t know whether I was coming or going.
I sighed and placed the photo down, glancing back up to see if any customers were around. I was still at the motel’s front desk, and today was checking out.
Three left to leave the motel, but only two had come and gone. I was waiting on one customer.
