Chapter Fifty Seven
"Revenge"
Following the instructions that Hyacinth gave us back at the coven house, I join the witches as they walk through the woods to find a large enough clearing. We search one out not far away, and then we gather in a circle, holding hands.
Savannah says beside me, “Spells that take more than one witch are generally referred to as cooperative magic. When you want to do something as big as we’re about to, never do it alone, for it could risk depleting your magic entirely, which can be fatal to a witch. This cooperative spell will take all of us to execute. The chant’s pretty simple; just say the words along with us, and we’ll be good to go.”
