Chapter Sixty Two
My eyes snap open as I wake with a start, gasping and panting and looking around my bedroom, trying to ensure I’m awake now instead of still caught up in a dream. I know it’s real life when I cast a glance around my darkened bedroom and see that everything’s once again in order.
