Luke pulled up as close as he could to the hiking trail and sighed. Sky and her two pups were fast asleep, and Amanda was listening to music through her headphones with her eyes closed. This wasn’t what he signed up for when he had been human, he had felt some sort of connection to Amanda and if it wasn’t for their history with shifters, he wouldn’t have given it a second thought.
