Cassiopeia bids the Enchantress farewell as she must return to the palace. The Enchantress offered that her guards accompany her on her way but Cassiopeia declined. Cassiopeia shook her head, "Thank you, Enchantress, but I can manage on my own. I do not want to draw any attention." The Enchantress nodded understandingly, "I understand your concern, my dear. But do be careful on your way back." Cassiopeia thanked the Enchantress again and left the palace. She made her way back to the Empire, avoiding any main roads and keeping to the shadows. As she walked, her thoughts turned to the events that had led her to seek refuge with the Enchantress. She knew she had to return to the palace, but the idea of facing Magnus made her heart heavy. She knew she could not avoid him forever, but she a
