Anu and Vinoth were sent back home as not too many people were allowed to stay in the hospital and that left only Vikram with Anjali. Vetri was a crying mess when he too was asked to leave by the duty nurse. Anu tried to persuade him but he didn't like her presence anywhere near him for he strongly believed that his mother's condition was solely because of Anu. That's what everyone around him said and that made a deep impact on the little guy's mind. It was Vinoth who convinced him to leave with them. He promised to bring him to his mother first thing in the morning and that's when Vetri finally agreed.
At night when Anu tried to make Vetri sleep, he simply asked her to stay away from him and it only added fuel to the pain in her heart. For Anu, it felt like everyone around her hated her
