All night Vikram felt unease. He spent the first half of the night, twisting and tossing on his bed trying to sleep but the next half, he gave up on the idea and instead stood near his window which faced Anjali's quarters. He wanted to go there and it was a miracle to himself that he'd controlled himself from doing what his desperate heart was begging from him.
He prayed the next morning never to come but he knew that it was an insensible wish to make as it dawned sooner than usual.
"Good morning, Vikram.." It was Meghna's elder brother Manoj.
"Get ready fast. The guests will be arriving soon.." He said placing the dress that Vikram was supposed to wear for the day, which consisted of an off-white silk shirt and Veshti.
