“Hey! Who was he? And how the hell did he know my name?” Oscar questioned, patting Leo’s shoulder.
“Ptf!” Leo snickered, staring at the space.
He was totally unaware of things going around and was lost in his own world of insanity.
“Hey! Hey!” Oscar patted his back still there was no answer from him.
“Come on, mate, Don’t do this. You had said that you were going to tell me about your job after drinking a few glasses of beer. But now you are totally ignoring me. This is not fair. You cannot do that to me, mate.” Oscar was feeling offended.
“Leo!'' Suddenly a man wearing a cap and mask approached them.
“Who are you?” Oscar got up and stood in front of Leo.
“Leo!” Zaiden tried to reach him but Oscar shoved him away.
“Get away from him. Don’t come closer. We don’t know you,” he roared, trying to shield Leo from strangers.
Zaiden rolled his eyes and stepping forward shoved Oscar away. Then grasping Leo's arms, he dragged him out of the pub.
“Hey! Hey, where are you taking him? Stop, I am warning you, stop!” Roaring Oscar followed them behind but Zaiden didn’t come to halt.
As they got out of the pub, Leo was dragged to the white Lamborozine parked nearby. Zaiden pushed Leo in and he was about to march to the other side but Oscar approached him. Placing his hand on his shoulder he tried to stop him.
Coldness arose on his face soon after Oscar’s hand landed on his shoulder. So, he clutched his wrist and flipped him upside down. Oscar's back landed hard on the ground making him scrunch his face in pain. He was struggling to get on his feet when suddenly Zaiden crouched in front of him and pulled down his mask.
Oscar’s eyes widened in shock seeing him. “You… you…” he stammered not getting a word to speak out.
“I am taking him home. You take care of yourself,” he announced in a cold tone and got on his feet.
Oscar was still in trauma seeing the superstar pick up his best friend. He sat on the ground and kept on watching the car until it sank among the traffic.
Zaiden took a short glance at Leo who was leaning his head back shutting his eyes tight. He rolled down the glass so that Leo could get some fresh air. When the air passed in Leo felt a tickling sensation on his face. His face beamed before his eyes opened.
“Woah!” he exclaimed looking at the passing scene.
Zaiden glanced at him in surprise.
“When did I get here?” he mumbled, popping his head out of the window.
“Hey! Hey! Get down here...” He grabbed his waist belt and yanked him down.
Hastily he rolled up the glass and removed the roof. Leo was silent for a while looking up at the sky.
Suddenly he got up. “Hey! Look, the stars are moving. Look, the moon is moving. Why is it moving?” he began to yell, extending his hands in the air. “Woooo!” he shouted in excitement.
Zaiden glanced up at him with a wide smile on his face. But it didn’t last long when suddenly Leo started to denounce him.
“Zany, you jerk, how can you be so cruel on me? With difficulty, I had got this job but you had to just mess it all. Why? Why did you have to do that?”
“Leo, come down.” Gripping his wrist Zaiden tried to pull him down but Leo yanked his hand away.
“Who Leo? I am not Leo. I don’t know who you are talking about,” he murmured.
Zaiden took a deep breath and questioned, “Fine if you are not Leo then who are you?”
“Me?” Suddenly Leo narrowed his eyes. “Who am I?” He dropped on his seat and whimpered, “who am I? What is my name?”
“Leo!”
“No, I am not that jerk.”
“You think Leo is a jerk too?” Zaiden asked, smiling.
“Yes, he is the biggest jerk in this world.”
“What makes you think so?”
“Because he bullies people.”
“What about you?” Zaiden turned his head toward him, adding, “Do you like bullying people?”
“What? Me?” He pointed to himself. “Why would I like bullying people when I am the victim of bullying?”
“What? Who bullied you?” Zaiden questioned out of curiosity.
But he heard nothing in response. When he glanced at him he was already dozing, hanging his head low.
“Hey! Leo, Leo..” he called out but he didn’t respond.
He pulled out his cell phone and dialed Kai’s number. Putting the phone on speaker, he waited for him to answer.
“Hello!”
“Kai, text me the address of Leo’s apartment,” he commanded shortly.
“Address? Why? Don't tell me that you are thinking of going to him and persuading him?” Kai inquired out of curiosity.
“Just do as I say,” he said and disconnected the call.
Parking the car at the side of the road, Zaiden wore the mask and cap before stepping out of the car. He then pulled Zaiden out of the car and wrapped his hand around his shoulder. Then he dragged him towards the building.
With difficulty, he was able to escort him to his door. Pinning him on the well, he started to search for the key in his pants pocket but by mistake, his hand landed on his manhood.
“Stay away from me,” suddenly Leo punched his face and shoved him away.
Wavering backward, Zaiden balanced himself and stood still. “I... I am sorry. I didn’t mean to. I was searching for the key.” He lowered his head.
Tottering Leo bent and pulled the doormat aside. He then picked up the key and tried to insert the key on the keyhole. But his wobbly hand was not good at doing the job.
“Let me help…” Zaiden stepped forward offering help but Leo placed his index finger on his lips before uttering, “shhh!”
Then again he got back to his work. “There… there you are…” he mumbled trying to insert the key but he failed again.
Zaiden stood at the side of the door leaning. Folding his arms his eyes were glued to Leo’s unsteady hand. When he was no longer able to resist, he snatched the key from him.
“You… stop!” Before Leo could complete his words in his drunk voice, the door was already opened and he was dragged in by Zaiden.
Zaiden reached out for the switch beside the door and turned it on. When the apartment was illuminated, he was dumbfounded seeing the messy hall. Wrappers, beer cans, clothes, and almost everything were scattered all around the place starting right from the door.
As Leo was dragged towards his bedroom, there were barely any steps that didn’t mash the trash scattered around. When Zaiden shoved Leo on his bed, he was no longer able to stand it.
He ran towards the washroom covering his mouth and right after getting in he started to puke. For a person like him, who had paid much attention to cleanliness, it was not easy at all as it was the first time getting to such a filthy and unorganized place.
When he was done, he gurgled his mouth and washed his hand. When he was searching for a tissue to clean his hand, suddenly his eyes fell on a bra hanging behind the door. He narrowed his eyes, staring at it for a while, and then strolled out.
He was pondering about leaving, but when his eyes fell on Leo, sleeping on the bed, he was not able to do it. He walked to him, leaned close to his face to adjust his pillow.
Leo suddenly whispered, “congratulations! you are pregnant.”
“Stop talking nonsense,” he muttered in a cold tone.
“Ahh! I am not talking nonsense. I heard you puking,” he replied smiling and opened his eyes.
Seeing his face he blinked twice before mumbling, “Zany!” Again he shut his eyes.
Hastily Zaiden got up and stepped back. Leo flipped to the other side.
“Hey! Open your shoes.” He shouted but Leo turned deaf to his words.
Zaiden took a deep breath and stepped forward. Unlacing his shoes he took them off.
“Thank god his feet don't stink or else…” he paused.
The cheesy smell drifted along with the air and hit his nostrils. He ran toward the washroom again.
While he was puking Leo shouted, “Congratulations! It's time for celebration. The newborn is yet to come!”
“Shut up!” Zaiden shouted back in rage.
